That's quite all right, I only despise others of my species. Humans are acceptable; I do enjoy attention from your kind. Especially if it involves going up trouser legs or into mouths. (Uncle Sam lets me do that. His mouth is always minty and interesting smelling. And it used to have metal bits in it but they have gone now, which is a shame as I enjoyed the metallic taste very much.) In fact, I must demand more attention from you. Being ignored like this in favour of immature and irritating rats is simply unacceptable. I shall continue to make loud noises with my teeth on the cage bars until I am satisfied.
